Sim2Sky Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales. We operate High Performance Pilot, a professional development platform for pilots built around the ICAO/EASA Core Competency framework.

What Data We Collect

We collect the following personal data when you use the app:

• Account data — your email address and display name, provided when you create an account
• Role data — your selected pilot role (e.g. First Officer, Captain) within the app
• Usage data — your progress, completed sessions, and behaviour ratings within the app
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card details. We receive confirmation of subscription status from Stripe.
• Technical data — device type, browser, and usage patterns collected automatically by Firebase
• Email marketing data — if you sign up to receive emails via the Insights site, we collect your first name and email address with your explicit consent. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

• Provide and maintain your account and subscription
• Track and display your development progress within the app
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Communicate with you about your account or subscription
• Improve the app and user experience

Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contract — processing necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to
• Consent — where you have explicitly opted in to receive marketing emails. You may withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing.
• Legitimate interests — improving and maintaining the app, preventing fraud
• Legal obligation — where required by law

Third Party Services

We use the following third party services to operate the app:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, and hosting. Data may be stored on Google servers within the EEA. See Firebase Privacy.
• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe is responsible for the security of your payment data. See Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Netlify — website hosting for the Insights section. See Netlify Privacy Policy.
• Brevo (Sendinblue) — email marketing and automation. When you sign up to receive emails from us, your name and email address are stored securely with Brevo and used solely to send you emails you have consented to receive. See Brevo Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA — spam protection on our signup forms. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Google Analytics (GA4) — analytics on the Insights section of the site. GA4 collects anonymised usage data including pages visited and time on site. No personally identifiable information is collected. See Google Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Stripe retains payment records in accordance with their own retention policy and applicable financial regulations.

Your Rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing of your data
• Data portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

The Insights section of the site (highperformancepilot.com/insights) does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
