These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Duty+ ("the app"), operated by Sim2Sky Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
Duty+ is a free tool that calculates an approximate Flight Duty Period (FDP) and related figures based on inputs you provide, with reference to the general provisions of EASA/UK CAA Regulation (EU) No 965/2012, ORO.FTL.205 and ORO.FTL.235. It requires no account and collects no personal data — see our Privacy Policy for details.
Duty+ is entirely free and does not require registration, login, or any in-app purchase or subscription.
You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose of duty period reference. You must not:
The app, its design, and its content are owned by Sim2Sky Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the app without prior written permission.
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its calculations will be accurate in every circumstance. See the Operational Disclaimer below.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sim2Sky Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including any regulatory, operational, or professional consequence of relying on figures it produces.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Duty+ is a reference tool only. It is provided to assist with quick, approximate flight duty period awareness and is not a substitute for your Operator's approved Flight Time Limitations (FTL) scheme, which always takes precedence.
Duty+'s calculations are based on the general provisions of EASA/UK CAA Regulation (EU) No 965/2012, ORO.FTL.205 and ORO.FTL.235, and Table 7.8A. Individual Operator schemes may apply different, more restrictive, or additional limits, extensions, and discretion provisions. You remain solely responsible for complying with your Operator's approved scheme and all applicable regulations.
Sim2Sky Ltd accepts no liability for any loss, delay, regulatory consequence, or other outcome arising from reliance on figures produced by Duty+. Always verify duty and rest requirements against your Operator's official documentation.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any part of it at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
